For majority of the match brighton were tossed around like a rag doll and looked like a deer in the headlights .
Not going to happen as apart from Haaland and, to a lesser extent, Alvarez, Phil and KDB , none of the others can finish.Yeah it's a problem that won't go away until we start finding more goals from midfield, not so much yesterday, but especially if Haaland misfires.
Yes, when have Bernardo and Rodri ever scored vital goals for us?Not going to happen as apart from Haaland and, to a lesser extent, Alvarez, Phil and KDB , none of the others can finish.
The others rarely even miss chances, never mind score them. Not going to happen as apart from Haaland and, to a lesser extent, Alvarez, Phil and KDB , none of the others can finish.
I wasn't saying they never score just that they are not reliable goalscorers.Yes, when have Bernardo and Rodri ever scored vital goals for us?
Probably worth mentioning that Gundogan is yet to score in 9 games for Barcelona, so it might just be that Pep was able to get something more out of him in this system, which perhaps he may be able to do with Nunes, Kovacic and Rodri given the time. The others rarely even miss chances, never mind score them.
Both Gundogan and Mahrez had a goal scoring threat that sometimes allowed more space for a decoy run and ultimately an easier chance for a teammate.
