Yes.

Cardiff City have previously spent 15 seasons in the Top Flight while Swansea have spent four.

But season 2013-14 will be the first time both clubs have participated in the Top Flight together.

Cheers mate, was thinking of other countries as well.

It's not uncommon for Foreign teams to appear in the Leagues of other countries - Monaco in France and Derry in Ireland are two examples.

Several Austrian clubs participated in the German Top Flight after the Anschluß and Rapid Vienna won the 1941 League Championship.

There are also several Canadian clubs who play in the MLS.
Berwick Rangers.

Got a mate from Cardiff (a Cardiff fan), and do they hate Swansea? Oh F**k they don't half!!
What's the Jack thing all about??

Loads of hatred! So many Swansea fans have come out of the woodwork over the past couple of years. In school they all used to take the piss because I supported City and they all supported United/Liverpool.

People from Swansea are called Jacks not just the team.
Swansea Jack was a dog who rescued loads of blokes from the sea, a real hero dog.
Cardiff could have done with him a few years ago when the Swansea fans chased about 20 of them into the sea, they were up to their chins, could have gone shit shaped though.
All the charity shops are filling up with all things scum, chelski and dippers as local Swansea lads have decided to drop their "second" team!! and are ditching the evidence now that it seems they will stay in the prem.

Congratulations to Cardiff, much deserved promotion. Will be interesting to see how they'll do next year.

Three - Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver

Really can't understand why this subject gets peoples backs up so much. Why aren't the same people up in arms that Cardiff / Swansea (and Wrexham until recently) were playing in the English leagues but outside the Prenier league.
Appreciate there were no football forums in the early 80's but never heard fans back then complaining about Swansea being in the old 1st division.....

Congratulations to Cardiff, looking forward to going there next year.
A lot of respect for Craig Bellamy as well, who turned down offers from premier league clubs to achieve his dream of taking his home town club into the premier league. You could see how much it meant to him at the final whistle and will be good to see him back in the premiership.
