Cashless society

Yes, unless you go to one that does 'special offers' for cash.
What’s her name?

@ all the replies. Thanks. I took in random matches at Burnley and Luton last season with both kiosks card only.

The opposition to this at Swansea is hilarious. I’ve already been called a “woke snowflake” by troll accounts with numerous replies at me deleted before I got to read them.

For those who don’t know, a Swans fan filmed himself trying to pay with cash and walked out with products having put money on the till. They’ve talked of a boycott to support him if he’s banned.

I love this place. You rail against the Tories and all they stand for and yet when 'the little man' does something to keep his head above water he's a tax dodging bastard.
You all comply with a political system you seemingly hate. You're sheep.

It was a joke. Keep your knickers on mate.

How are people supposed to pay their dealers if we go cashless? Hypothetically speaking obviously.

I suspect it will be within a much shorter time frame but we'll see, or not (as the case maybe).
I would say that once the first computer literate generation are the eldest in society. So maybe 20 more years in this country?

But we’ll see how it goes in Sweden and Malaysia before us. Sweden is already on its way this year and Malaysia will be cashless by 2030.

Stockholm was largely cashless earlier this year. I mistakenly took Krona out but only a few market stalls would accept it.

I’m in Malaga Airport waiting for a flight and everywhere to buy food and drink is card only. I’ve no Euros left either.

I never use cash when I go out now, which isn't always a good thing. I went on the piss to Knutsford on Saturday and for about 15 minutes on Sunday, all you heard in my gaff was 'How much! How much! How much !'. When I looked at my account.

The big issue guy outside tesco has a card machine , wouldnt dream of using that , i give him some pound coins when i have them and dont take a magazine
Is that because the people who publish the Big Issue take the payment?
Like you I would give him pound coins or whatever loose change I had because I then know that the homeless guy has it rather than the publishers. Who may be very honest and give every penny earned to the homeless but I am getting very cynical in my old age. :-)

I dont know who gets what but using the card machine feels dodgy to me . I brought him a big sarnie one day and he said i dont like that one , can you buy me a different one , i said no !
