Cavani Speculation/News 3 (or 4)

I can't see Cavani choosing us over Madrid (bigger club) and Chelsea (after Hazard saga) maybe I am still in typical city mode but I just cannot see Cavani joining.

Then again, Aguero came...

I like his mum, but his dad can do one.

Maybe City and Real came to some sort of an agreement: We can have Isco, they can have Cavani.

Agree. He sounds like a bit of a tit.

"He has told the family in private that he wants to join Real Madrid but if he declares it publicly it will annoy Napoli."

Cheers dad!!

Cavani is a good player, Real are a great club, sounds like a no brainer to me.
If the only way to capture talent is to out bid any rivals, then surely this transfer commands it, but there again i aint buying him.

fooking hilarious all this his mum and dad making comments about there son's future i bet he is so proud of his parents....

lets just see what happens looking like nothing concrete will come out of this untill after the confederations cup!

"Cavani's intention is to play for Madrid," Luis Cavani told Futboleros. "He is excited about it and is very willing to see it through.

This part made me laugh! If he declares it publicly it will annoy Napoli, therefore, its ok if his father does it on his behalf.

It does make his dad seem completely retarded. "Ed wants to keep it quiet, so I'll go tell a paper" moron.

I'd be more than happy if we let Real sign Cavani just to keep him away from Chelsea and us to get Isco and keep hold of Tevez for another year.

And all it would take to sort it is city to give napoli a big cheque

Once we get Isco I'm not too disappointed. Isco and Navas will add the missing ingredients, one wide and to the byline and one direct into the box. Crosses, freekicks and penalties will make huge differences against tight defences. That allows us to keep our current strike force (providing they are willing to fight for a place).

Once Suarez or Rooney aren't coming I will be happy I think.
