You only have to look either direction on Ashton new road to see many are leaving on foot.
Whether it 7000 below capacity or not, plenty of empty seats that should be filled. Be it too expensive or apathetic supporters who have seats can't be bothered, we still have seats available. Evening games is when the family stand has the most empty seats on show. We definitely have the fanbase to fill those seats, but more fans can stream live Saturday 3pm games so that's part of the reason we aren't selling out.
The bottom line is, the club know exactly how many longterm supporters are not renewing SC's each season yet they dont seem to care.
As many have said on here they have been priced out from a SC or they will be of the cost keeps rising. And buying match day tickets at £60 won't temp many back. Bluemoon forum only represents a small % of match day supporters, how many who don't go on here can't go due to cost? Like I said, with most of our matches televised on Sk and BT, plus those able to view on IPTV streams at home or in pubs, the club should be doing all they can to actually fill the stadium to capacity, not blag us that it's sold out when it clearly isn't!
Fuck off all the agencies and sell the tickets for an affordable cost to entice supporters to return to games.
They won't though as they are quite happy to sell to agencies to maximise profit. Won't be long before I throw my towel in if ththings continue. My match going support since the early 70s doesn't seem to matter much anymore.
We do not want to become like the monster we hate across town that is like a circus for tourists!!!
But we are slowly morphing into the monster we hated unfortunately!
