yes the longest running (I think) city fanzine still remains

still available to buy every match. great value for money

which ones are still running?? king of the kippax?

where are the sellers at eastlands?

ive been 90% of the home games since we moved into COMS but still not seen a seller or maybe i have but im always just to pissed to see them.

King of the Kippax can be found all around the ground.

There's a seller by the mercedes garage, one outside the P entrance of the South Stand, one by the entrance near the away fans. One/two at the top of Joe Mercer Way, one outside the main entrance to the club (West Stand) and one on the east side near the entrance nearest to ASDA.

It is physcially impossible to get into the perimeter of the stadium without passing a King of the Kippax seller.

But it can be done, if you try really hard...

;-)))

Electric Blue had to change it's name because of copyright issues (name of a porn film) and became trautmans helmet.

king of the kippax IMO started to became more serious when we had the fan on the board and lost it's humour.

Some of the piccies on the inside back cover in CTIC were superb. Remember the one where John O'Shea and a few of his chums were modelling the MANUre away kit!! Sorry ain't got the pic. Someone'll whip it on 'ere in the next five posts!
Funny you should mention that one. I found that particular issue while sorting out some stuff. Unfortunately I'm away all week so won't be able to scan it in until weekend. In fact I might even post a summary of the whole issue to remind us what life was like in the bad old days

Maybe the old bill should look at their strategy for placing coppers round the stadium.

Are you having a laugh?

Most of it was puerile and juvenile. I mean who would put bunting outside OT to celebrate the 30th anniversary of them being relegated and then pose for pictures in the guise of Denis Law and Alex Stepney while having over the security staff?

It's just not believable!!!

However the stories of the 'Dogpack' used to make me smile as they sounded a thoroughly decent bunch of chaps who one could have a good time with.

Ha! Ha!

Ah, memorable days indeed... happy but poor, eh?

You do know why they were christened the Dogpack, don't you... 'cos they followed the editor around like fucking lap dogs hanging on to his every word!

If only his kids listened as intently...!

;-)

I heard it was because they were like a pack of rottweilers and always on his back when a shit article appeared? Thus bringing the ego back down to earth of the pretentious editor, especially when he started drinking a Latte and eating olives instead of a 'proper' pre-match drink and and food....Though i may be wrong...?

Oh fuck.

Your secret is safe... for now.

There is no DNA trace, so I think we might be okay...
