didn't know Andy but @Prestwich_Blue was a superb representative of the fans...Very strange. We’ve had some great reps like Andy Bucknall and Colin Savage but this is very bizarre.

Yeah, but nobody does that ;)It’s a bit like supporting United’s first team, and then admitting you support FC United as well.
They would need a padded cell

The Paul Hand Band likes this post. This is why we end up with fucking marching bands and cringefest 'entertainment' at the Etihad. Because we have complete weirdos acting on behalf of actual fans (who understand football culture).
As a rule of thumb, City, if you're reading this. A good starting point for a FAN REPRESENTATIVE is that they support City (wholly, not mainly) and that they go and watch the first team week in and week out - like actual fans. that isn't too much to ask right?
Dabbler.Fucking dilettante.
May I also add that publishing the minutes is not confidential surely? I know I keep going on about it but it helps the fans to know that the whole committee care about their ‘constituents’ not just one or two.I appreciate things like sensitive commercial information and the like can’t be discussed outside the meeting.
Season ticket renewals aren’t far away, so telling the fans there will be no season ticket price rises next season, as City Matters Reps have requested, shouldn’t be confidential or a problem for the club to do. Telling the fans there won’t be season ticket or match day ticket price rises doesn’t need to be held back until the day season tickets are launch. In these times of austerity and price rises across the board, people are struggling financially, and are genuinely worried about further seaon ticket and match day ticket prices rises next season. The club could end those worries with an early and positive statement saying there will be no season ticket or match day ticket prices rises next season.
I just had to rush to the bathroom to be sick!!! ;-)It’s a bit like supporting United’s first team and then admitting you support FC United as well.
Call me old fashioned, but I don't get the notion of 'supporting' City Men's team whilst at the same time 'supporting' the Women of a different club. Personally I have little interest in Women's football but I would always want City Ladies to do well, and at the expense of all other clubs.
I can't see how loyalties can be split into two where football is concerned. Doesn't make any sense to me, but each to their own, I suppose.
Not that funny, we had a ladies team, as it was called then, quite a few years before Chelsea had a women's team plus, ours was always part of our club, Chelsea wasn't.Quite a funny One this, So she's always a been a Chelsea women's fan as we didn't have a women's team. But she's a City fan at heart regarding supporting the men. She's admitted too not successfully transferring too City women from Chelsea, supporter wise, Which I guess must be difficult tbh.
It's not unreasonable to think everything she's said is spot on and she's been hard done by.
She isn’t old enough surely to have been around when we started our Women's team as it was inaugurated in 1988 and I think that was probably before she was born.I'm just trying too look at it from someone who loves women's football, ( Her) She's a blue and supports the men's but also had chosen too support the Chelsea Women when we never had a Women's team. It's a weird One don't get me wrong but I'm not sure it's the crime folk are making out. It seems the main sticking point is she should of stopped following the Chelsea women when we formed a team.
For me your club is your club. You support the badge and the history and split support is Ehhh. But I Do think it's going a bit far on twitter. Looks like some people involved (her friends) have had their faces posted as part of the initial tweet and are extremely uncomfortable being drawn into the narrative.
At this point she's stepped down from the position so the tweet has gotten the response it wanted. I think perhaps all involved need to close the book on it
Sorry @Blue Mist SNAP.Not t

I understand your last post in reply to Prophet of Doom @Prestwich_Blue and your frustration with some posters (probably me as well) continually going on about CM and the club not keeping in touch with the fans but I think you’d be the same on this side of the fence. :-)
A couple of years ago I sent an email to all the reps who represented my dynamic, old, female, SC holder, OSC Member etc and only two responded. Guess who they were? You and KP. That’s not me brown nosing just saying. Since then there have been changes I know.
I had very seriously considered (because people asked me to) putting my name forward last time but it was just when everything health wise went haywire! I throw that in in case anyone says why didn’t you do something and stop moaning. :-) :-)
Sorry for the essay. Just needed to say it. *wry grin*
Nothing will ever beat the QPR game for Entertainment in 98, here we was with one foot in the third division and about 5mins before the team came out and provided us with comedy, we had what can only be called a pub singer giving us his worst rendition of bluemoon and trying to get the crowd involved by continuosly breaking off from song and saying come on everyone. This is why we end up with fucking marching bands and cringefest 'entertainment' at the Etihad. Because we have complete weirdos acting on behalf of actual fans (who understand football culture).

I'm very offended. Is there a representative for the minority of us that support two teams? It is simple if you support City you support City, the club and all that goes with it, you don't choose one team and opt for another club for your youth/womens etc team.
be a chelsea fan, be a rag, be a geordie or makem or anyone else, but you go all in or don't bother, certainly don't be cheeky enough to ask to represent the fans.
I have no issue her wanted to follow multiple teams, that is her or anyone elses choice but don't claim to truly support either club
As stated earlier. We had a women's team years before Chelsea. Further our club helped start it. Chelsea FC did NOT recognise Chelsea Ladies for some years.I'm just trying too look at it from someone who loves women's football, ( Her) She's a blue and supports the men's but also had chosen too support the Chelsea Women when we never had a Women's team.
