That storming run by him woke the crowd up a little, he looks an absolute beast whenever he gets going. I'm not sure he has what it takes here because he doesn't seem to have a great footballing brain but surely it's time we gave him another loan after the Carlisle one didn't work out well last year. Dutch league maybe.

In the aftermath of this poor showing lets look at the season so far:-

Community Shield - Good period to go 3-1 ahead and then nearly blew it.
Southampton - fortunate to win at home against newly promoted team.
Liverpool - fortunate to draw against a team who have not been good so far.
QPR - result flattered us to a degree against a poor team.
Stoke - Had plenty of possession but still a fair result.
Madrid - They could have been out of sight by half time, we improved and then blew it big time.
Arsenal - Over-run in midfield at Home and blew it again late on.
Villa - No comment but blew it again.

My point is that we have not played one decent game where we have dominated the match for long periods like last season.By not doing so it has shown the vulnerability of our defence to drastic proportions.

tevez was very poor and helan rarely touched the ball. Balotelli was best player by far and almost every good City move featured Mario. Dzeko also did well

Forwards were OK. Midfield and defence were as bad as I have seen for a long time.

Wouldn't blame Pants for any of the goals. One he saved and it went into Nzogbia's patyh whilst the other was deflected I thought. No chance with og or Agbonlahor's other goal

Kolarov was alright. Scored a great freekick and was better player as a left-winger. Sinclair also caused a few problems for Villa/

At least he celebrated the goal as well with some panash.

I have only seen the highlights the so called best bits but the lack of emotion in the players last night en mass in key moments reminded me of our preseason games in the USA.

No leadership and lack of spirit and willingness to graft from all players.

Terrible example for the youngsters including Nasti to look at even though they seemed well out of their depth on the night.

Razak was very poor no control or composure. Suarez was little boy lost.
Tevez tried hard but nothing stuck or ran for him.
Never seen Balo play well always the same effort, seems to do just as much as he can get away with.
Kolo is shite, Milner is a workhorse but no end product.
Saw about five foul throws, also a complete lack of ability from our so called rising stars to the point where if watching for the first time I would release them. but this so called super squad is know where near as good as many think.
Onwards and upwards. Can't be this poor again this season.

What on earth have our acadamy people been doing for the last 5/6 years?
Not one player since Richards/johnson have become a regular or even close to being a regular.

There is an argument to say why even bother having one at all.
