Hope there's no truth to this whole "attitude problem" thing. It's not really a river plate thing as some followers of Argentinian football on reddit and twitter have also said the same.

Funny how those "attitude problem" rumours always start as soon as City look like signing someone.
 
He's been touted as the next Messi his whole childhood. That's bound to nurture an 'attitude' or arrogance of some description.

If it's even true, hopefully he grows out of it by learning from world class players and developing in City's environment.

If not, he'll go the same way as Sancho, Cancelo, etc. Which would be his loss and not ours.
 
We got a much more developed/established version of Alvarez for half of the quoted price, so I don't understand bitter River Plate fans crying that a 17-year-old with a handful of senior apps is leaving for 25m. That's very good money for them if you ask me. He is very talented, but still just 17 and raw. There is a reason why we are keeping him there for another year. The fans can blame the player all they want, but their board approved of this transfer after all. Comes across as bitter and childish.
