I was half joking, but there's not a chance the club would endorse a badge made by someone on the internet. They either commissioned a proper firm to do it, or did it in house. Either way, they would open themselves up to all sorts of legal shenanigans if they copied a design.

No worries bud. I was meaning they would ask his permission, get him in to work with their software etc and give him a relevant pay packet for his work.

It's not perfect, could have been better, but it's miles better than the eagle.

It looks a bit cartoony, but looking at Arsenal's badge, maybe that's the future and we're 5 years ahead of the curve?

Time will tell, but one important thing I will say is this. All badges change slightly over time, little tweaks to colours and designs. Having this design now, at least it's the basis of a proper City badge and and slight alterations will be made to core design which is the City badge and not the eagle.

Do you know what pretentious means? I'd say it's far more pretentious to nitpick at an overlapping shield or missing the words "football club" as a lot have done on here.

I think it's great and, as I said earlier, it will look much better when it's embroidered onto our kit.
