Here’s a little positive story, of no great consequence but thought I’d share, that my mither-in-law who is 78 accompanied my father-in-law who is 84 for him to have his second Pfizer jab and whilst there she asked cheekily whether they could give her a jab and incredibly they obliged, told her to roll sleeve up and whacked it in there and then.

Nice to see a bit of red tape being ignored for once!

Did they even bother to ask if she has a history of allergies? That is gross incompetence if we are being honest.

if you’re going to be taking Vitamin E tonight you shouldn’t wear a mask as that could be dangerous due to your elevated heart rate and increased breathing. Social distancing may be difficult as you will inevitably swear your undying love to a complete stranger. If you get busted just try and stare at the flashing blue lights for an extra hit before they throw you in the back of the car.

Stay safe and Enjoy!

p.s where is it?
-5 in the North-west of England tonight.

My good lady had her second jab this evening. Same procedure as the first. Asked if it was her first or second. They seemed pleasantly surprised it was her second which gave her the impression they're running down the follow ups. Fifteen minutes in a pod and off you go.
Our daughter is due her second on the 13th which is looking flimsy at best.
Nice to know at least two of the family are relatively safe now.

Quick summary of GM before the match.

Not a good day. Up 431 to 1583.

That is most of the NW increase today of 519.

As a result the GM % of the NW rose from yesterday's shock fall to 22% back up to 27% where it was 2 days ago.

All 10 GM borough s were over 100 for first time in a while.

Manchester had its highest number in many weeks. But still 300 less than Liverpool. Though more than Wirral today. ~

Apart from Manchester (369 cases) all 9 other boroughs were in a small case range of just 28 between 118 and 146.

Every borough went up - apart from Stockport. Which for once had a better day. Though still up on last week.
