Then a quick phone call to the number on the letter will confirm that…Good idea, it's impossible to knock up a letter in Word and put a Dr's name as the header.

Perfect example of the mindset over here these days.Or better still, don't try and fucking blag you're exempt if your not. Like a normal civilised person
You do like a stereotype don’t you?Sadly, over here, they’d just print out a generic exemption form, which is why I think a proper doctor’s letter should be used,
It’s the getting one over the system syndrome that’s rife here.
How many people do you think are genuinely exempt from wearing a mask? My guess is a lot less than claim to be.You do like a stereotype don’t you?
What he said is being proven as fact though on a daily basis. You do like a stereotype don’t you?
Agree. Had to pop to Tesco this afternoon and loads not wearing masks, including staff. No attempt to enforce law.Morrisons had the best record earlier on this year. The others couldn't give a stuff.
Our plan is to get everything delivered and not have to scrummage through stressed, angry people weaving through the stores.Agree. Had to pop to Tesco this afternoon and loads not wearing masks, including staff. No attempt to enforce law.

Yes. I have a 94 year old grandma, who when needing a doctor come out the same day to her or video call her.Have you tried getting hold of a doctor recently? They don’t want to help people at the best of times never mind bring hundreds of phone calls to validate someone’s covid mask status. Plus I’m pretty sure GDPR wouldn’t allow them to discuss patients medical records with a random shop keeper.

Ok, how about attaching it to your COVID pass? Show your exemption digitally.By the way, I’m not going to do this. Was just pointing out how fucking ridiculous the suggestion was.
When masks were mandatory I hardly saw anyone not wearing one, so I’m just not sure who these people are.How many people do you think are genuinely exempt from wearing a mask? My guess is a lot less than claim to be.
Hop on a tram. When masks were mandatory I hardly saw anyone not wearing one, so I’m just not sure who these people are.
Talking about doing something similar here.Greece will fine over-60s who refuse to be vaccinated €100 per month, starting January 16th. Move is targeting around half a million unvaccinated in that age range.

I’m just thinking aloud. Some ideas are better than others! That’s a better idea!
Even though the boss of Moderna has said, this afternoon, that it looks like the vaccines will suffer a ‘material drop in effectiveness against the new variant?‘Greece will fine over-60s who refuse to be vaccinated €100 per month, starting January 16th.
