Haaland always takes them when fit. Then Alavarez. We have plenty of penalty takers as it is as well.
Just don’t give another one to Bernardo!

This completely - or it Paqueta isn’t cleared in time, can’t see us doing this early doorsTo me, it’s the kind of signing you know you can make in the last week of the window if someone triggers Bernardo’s clause and he wishes to leave. Similar price as well. If we have landed our main targets and that scenario unfolds, then fair enough, but it’s hard to make a case for chasing him ahead of others.
Some of his play reminds me of Palmer.
Get him on the smoothies and he will be 100%He hasnt been fit enough to do a season for 4 years.
We should steer clear.
He is like a half Merlin to me, technically gifted but something missing.
And two dependable legs.
Gundogan is one example, true, but we have other players whom we have only been able to patch up and who have been unable to play consistently for seasons. Similarly, other clubs are wealthy and have access to the same medical specialists. If any medical team can sort him it’s ours, they trusted themselves to sort Gundo out and look and look what happened?
With the Paqueta news out, surely this gets done now? 51m quid release clause.
