De Bruyne?

I know you can't directly compare as they're different leagues, but who which PL player most resembles how De Bruyne plays? I've seen the odd Wolfsburg game last season and know he's a player that can contribute to us but must confess that I don't watch too much Bundesliga football.

De Bruyne is quite unique. He's a direct player. He's good but not great in the build-up.

His final ball is absolutely superb though. His crossing almost Beckham-esque and he's a great finisher. He's clinical.

De Bruyne is a player who I wouldn't say is too stylish, but he's certainly effective. If you're looking for a comparison, maybe Thomas Muller?

De Bruyne, Silva and Sterling is pretty much the perfect blend of 3 attacking midfielders. Goals, creativity and pace.

De Bruyne, Silva and Sterling with Aguero thrown in too sounds pretty amazing to me. Wouldn't be complaining if we started the season with that attacking line up

Maybe The Mirror...there is a clue

Cheers Daz!;)

Manchester City transfers: Kevin De Bruyne to be offered lucrative £100,000-a-week deal by Wolfsburg

City have been in touch for the ex-Chelsea winger but Wolfsburg are determined to keep hold of him and will offer him a huge deal

Manchester City target Kevin De Bruyne is in line for a huge new deal from Wolfsburg who have vowed to fight to keep him.

The 23-year-old former Chelsea winger has confirmed City have been in touch for his services. But Wolfsburg want to offer him around £100,000-a-week to stay.

De Bruyne has been in outstanding form over the past campaign with 10 goals and 20 assists in the German Bundesliga.

His displays have also attract interest from Bayern Munich and PSG.

But Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs said: “We’ll be sitting down with Kevin’s advisors.”

The Belgian international has four more years left to run on his current contract and was voted the German’s league’s best outfield player of the season for the past campaign.

I still dont think that numbers right to be honest as i can't see wolfsburg paying those sort of wages. His wages at city might be £100,000 a week but in their terms its about €125,000?!?! Cant see that.

Only issue Wolfsburg have is they don't really look like challenging for the big prizes but we do.

Fair play to him if he stays but I think he would have more chance of medals elsewhere and hope it's here
