De Bruyne?

Fair point, although when its a rep of the player's agent, there's not a lot the club can do.

Although why not make everyone sign an NDA prior to any discussions, never understood that.

Would be a good idea

Why do people have the urge to jump on my moaning posts which recently have been genuine moans rather than wind ups?
I suspect it's been years since you last wrote a post that is positive about City. Maybe thats why.

This is from yesterday, and everyone is quoting his words from this,so HE must of said it,not his agent.
Sounds like he's still open to a move to me.

"If I leave, I have no preference where I go," said De Bruyne. "In my head, it is 95 percent I won't go to Russia or Italy. It is not my style of play. But England, Spain, France or the Bundesliga, yes. They are the best leagues. There are some very good teams. That appeals to me."

Until De Bruyne signs a new contract with Wolfsburg there's no need to worry about little rumours that he's staying. Wolfsburg will need to up his wages and break clause if they want him to stay. The player knows he is hot property and will expect the club to give him improved terms, similar to what has happened with Sterling. If they don't he'll be more keen for a move, but clubs like City will still have to fork out enough to make Wolfsburg want to sell and to turn the players head.

This is the signing that has most blown hot and cold over the past few weeks, but it's much like the scenario with Sterling - but different in that De Bruyne is probably not adverse to staying put if he's offered new terms or other clubs don't come knocking. We've enough of a Belgian contingent to turn his head, and there's quite a clan of Belgian players doing well in the English league.
