Former club chelsea that has got to be a joke rite?

Matić went back.

Matic went to Benfica as an attacking midfielder and came back arguably the best defensive midfielder in Europe, plus he is the epitome of a Mourinho player, De Bruyne like Mata isn't.

the work rate De Bruyne showed recently wouldnt make him valuable to Mourinho at all

Saw him playing for Belgium the other night not for me.To be fair though it was an international match.

That Belgium team look like a bunch of individuals to me.

If you watched England 10 years ago you wouldn't have touched Lampard or Gerrard, but watching them for their clubs they would have walked into any club team in world football.

About 30m as mentioned would be a decent price for him.

Way to much.

For the most productive playmaker on the continent this season? It's potentially a bargain in a market where Di Maria goes for £60m. I'd be amazed if Wolfsburg did sell him that cheap though, when they have City, United, Bayern, PSG and possibly Chelsea showing interest.

Any decent offensive midfielder this days costs much more than that mentioned 30 millions.

The problem is that some of this writers just take the sums of transfermarkt page - and as I am discussing there about the sums, too, I know how careful the sums in Germany are handled in difference to that of the other leagues.

De Bruyne stands there with 35m EUR - but as the demand for the top players and prospect is far higher than the numbers in that category that are on the market - he for sure will not go for less than 50m EUR.

But - hopefully he is smart enough to be able to wait a year because I think that would be best for his development.

Well 50m euro is still 36m pounds so more than price being quoted but not by much.

Would prefer Inter's Mateo Kovačić. Would be half the price at £17 and could be even less if Yaya goes the other way. And he is only 20.

If Wolfsburg want to cash in they will do this summer if they have any sense.

Its always best to cash in on the back of good form unless the kids a prodigious talent in his teens. The amount of times I've seen clubs hold for one more season in the hope of raising values and then seeing the player drop off is uncountable. Benteke and Barkley for example. Clubs helped out for 35 and 50m pound respectively. Now they'd be lucky to get 20m and 30m for these two.

Roma seem to do the best business, Lamela and Marquinhos brought in 70m euro, both gave fuck all in their debut seasons and look well overpriced.

just set up Schurrle with a sweet pass to become Europe's top playmaker at league level (statistically). Was already the most productive in all competitions, now league too.
