Because the vast majority of their fan base (a good 99%) are quite simply the saddest species of fuckers on the planet. The most desperate, pathetic, deluded bunch of bell ends - the type that photoshop a game played at the weekend with the empty seats of a stadium during no game and then post it on twitter and say "look at the emptyhad" and then make up some shit quote about some ginger **** or make up a quote of a player linked with a club that goes along the lines of "I didn't know there was another team in Manchester other than United." What's worse this particular kind of species is infested in the national newspapers.

The best bit about this is he costs 10m less in an article about him and United than he costs to go to city. These papers don't even try to hide it do they? Absolute grade A cunts.

A concerted effort today, on behalf of Metro and SSN, to try to destabilise any City transfer business, they're nothing more than gold plated KFA's, SSN about Dzeko, OLD NEWS, . KDB, shit-stirring and oneupmanship, vague Twitter banter and lies, everyone on here knows more than they do.

You should know the script by now this happens every time we are close to a signing it's to make the Rag sheep feel better albeit momentarily, it's their wet dream of course we all know there is not a shred of evidence in it, just relax it's what they do

Cant see anything about this on either sky or twitter aloffs has always said he wanted him to say but if a bid came in they would definitely consider it they have always left room for him to move with every answer they have given, maybe sky are spinning old quotes but hecking who is the manager has said he is a doubt for the supercup today would seem weird for aloffs to come out a couple of hours later and contradict him

Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs insists Kevin de Bruyne will not be leaving the club this summer.

The Belgian has been linked with a move to Manchester City, but Allofs said: "We expect Kevin de Bruyne to be with the team for the Super Cup and afterwards during the season, that’s the plan, to keep our players here.

"That’s not just the case for De Bruyne, but also Ivan Perisic, Bas Dost and Ricardo Rodriguez. These are all players who have been named in speculation."
 
ah ive just checked thats new quotes from aloffs and seem very strange seeing as they agreed a fee for perisic and he is directly contradicting what hecking has said also its the same as what he has always said and they key word is expects, he expected kdb to sign a new contract about 6 weeks ago and that has never happened , they never come out say is staying, rodgers said he expected sterling to stay
 
they'll probably reject our first bid and we still won't have him until the last week of August. This has been glacial. Waiting for Dzeko to leave is a poor excuse.

Not much new there really, obviously it would be their plan to keep players but when or if money is smacked on the table I'm sure he'll be more willing.
