He's elite at breaking up attacks and progressing the ball upfield, but he doesn't have an attacking bone in his body. All of his underlying stats will show you that.

What made Gundogan a special player in my eyes was his ability in the final third to put the ball in the net and/or find an assist.

John Stones didn't have an attacking bone in his body either....

This is the hope... Although splashing big money on Rice and Gvaridol makes me think we're not signing a winger and Phil will still be getting paint on his boots as he's forced to hold the touchline. We will move extremely quickly with this after the Gundogan news. It was always reported as either Gundogan or Rice. Arsenal are well in a tough spot now.
