Definitely on his way to being a legend. Even if the boss only gives him 5 mins he will score.

I don't personally believe it, but maybe Mancini knows what he's doing with Dzeko. Every time he's let on the field he scores. Bobby needs to put his paternal feelings for Balo aside and give Dzeko a run. Get us back to the Aguero/Dzeko partnership that was so good at the beginning of last season.

Edin deserves to be starting games based on his performances so far this season. The change in him so far is amazing to see. He looks dangerous, his touch has improved, and he's playing with immense confidence. Surely when strikers get on a hot streak of form like Edin's on at the moment they should be given as much game time as possible?

I think he deserves to be starting games at the moment Marvin. He's a different player entirely from the one who was so lacking in confidence last year. The transformation is incredible. I can't be the only one that's noticed?

If Mancini continues treating him like he does, particularly in favor of Balotelli - he will ask to be traded in January, guaranteed. All of us would too - lets be honest.

In the meantime, as he is a nice bloke - he will bag them in any time he's got a chance.

But I have faith Roberto will also wake up and see what everyone else is seeing.

Someone said "we dont deserve Dzeko" after today's game. No - City fans deserve him because they DO support him. Roberto doesnt deserve him.

Dzeko scored a great goal but let's not go over the top.

He will get his chance in the team.

Mancini doesn't favour Mario. It's all good competition.

I'm also not saying he should be starting over Tevez and Aguero (maybe all three starting against weaker teams??) - but 5 minutes for a guy who probably has a goal every 45 minutes this season (all competitions) is fucking ludacris.

Thing is, Dzeko is having a good run of form, having a great goal-to-game ratio, bailed us out a couple of times, it's really mind-boggling why he doesn't get a proper start.

i honestly don't think dzeko cares so much about that as long as he keeps on scoring. besides, getting the last 30 minutes than the first 60 is much more useful for him simply because the pace of the game better suits his style of play.
