Even worse for Edin...
But don't worry, he'll do well at Napoli.

what you mean even worse. edin would do wonders for bayern munich. he's much better than gomez and manzkic..

Unfortunately Bayern don't agree, or else they would try to sign Edin.

lol who told you they dont agree. bayern cant buy any player they want .. they are not super rich like we are.

mandzukic used to be in the same team as edin dzeko at wolfsburg. mandzukic was second choice striker and mostly on the bench.

bayern wanted to buy dzeko last year but City did not wanted to let him go for less then 30 million euros .

Suarez, Aguero and tevez would be unreal!

As a team what we are brilliant is dominating posession and interchanging passes around the edge of the box. What we lacked is the player to commit defenders, and to beat a player creeting space for others rather than constantly trying to play through teams. Suarez would be the ideal signing for us or alternatively a player like Hazard.
I'd love that to happen but do you think we need a tall striker to add another dimension?

Naturally an aerial threat in the side would be advantageous. But even late in games our style of play remains as we do not thave the personnel to change styles. Therefore we would be better to buy another player to complement the system we play. If we were to evolve for me a player with genunie pace and the ability to beat a player is paramount. A tall striker would only give us another dimension if we played to suit his strengths. If not this topic will be revisited in a couple of years.

Bayern are loaded, one of the richest clubs in the world especially in the 'spend what you earn' era of FFP, where they have among the highest revenues. They spent £62million last summer (we spent £54million) and have already agreed to sign Gotze for £32million this summer. And they do want a striker but it's Lewandowski, not Dzeko.

they dont want dzeko because they cannot afford him. just because bayern have high revenues doesn't mean they splash money like crazy, they are careful their spending.

Edin is on sale now. The price is affordable to BM.
(Bayern were trying to spend more money signing Suarez.)

Aguero was second choice to Torres and mostly on the bench, when Torres played at Atletico. So? Should we swap Aguero for Torres?

we should play without strikers in our system.

if you think about it, aguero and tevez are not really strikers, they are midfielders similar to messi.

I know what you are saying and with one striker that formation would be my preferred method of seeing the team evolve. However we do not have the personnel hence we purchased Aguero and went two up top in our championship winning year as Mancini realised we did not have enough goals in the side.

Silva is quite rightly a fans favourite but could he play off a front man and get the goals a Mata, Bale, Cazorla etc would get from that position. Also Nasri is not a prolific scorer. That is the problem. We would lack goals unless we could get a player in suited to that position.

P.s I know the team with Tevez plays similarly picking up the ball deep. But we do not get the same movement and fluency seen at Arsenal, Chelsea etc

Aguero is 5 years younger than Torres.

Manzukic and Dzeko are same age. Fact is that Manzukic was forced to stay on the bench because he wasn;t as good as Dzeko.

Of course they can afford him! We're asking around £20million for Dzeko, if they sign Lewandowski from their closest rivals do you think they're going to be spending much less than this (realistically, he's likely to cost MORE since Dortmund will drive a hard bargain after Gotzegate).

I don't think you understand FFP era football. The wealth of the owner becomes irrelevant unless you choose to flaunt these rules. The richest clubs are those who make the most. And Bayern are 4th on that list behind Real, Barca, and United. £20million on Dzeko would be nothing for them - if they felt he was worth it. But visibly they rate Lewandowski higher, as much as it may grate at such an avid Dzeko supporter whose existence on BM seems to be based around preaching his gospel.
