The fact is, Edin isn't clinical in front of goal and he must take his chances to kill off the game, he need to be more clinical in front of goal and that's by scoring from half a chance, and if he do that you won't hear about the "exceptional world class goalkeeper saves" and "very unfortunate he didn't score" as often!

We won 4-0 and Edin set up two of them. His all-round play was excellent and, in case you didn't hear, he was awarded Man of the Match. Now, he wasn't the only one who played well; several of the other City players had a very good claim to the award.

Agreed, in a tight game, it could be more important if he scored, but when we've just won as convincingly as we did on Monday, and Džeko played as well as he did, I find it very annoying that you are still nit-picking.

If Dzeko plays like THIS the entire season, and Bale goes to Real, Mourinho will wish he never came back to England.

Easy to get carried away on here.

If you wish to balance it, which I doubt many wish to, he had the lowest passing completion of our outfield players and failed to score 8 chances not including the one when he fell down in the box. That header was as bad a miss as it was a good save before anyone brings it up.

I've said he played well in other aspects and is showing good signs but many are acting like he walked on water Monday night, a little perspective would be nice as it's only 1 game.
