And how much would be a good deal for Dzeko in JAN. ??
And can you tell me for how much was Ballotelli sold ??
I would take £15-20m for Dzeko.

I fail to see what other clubs paid for other players has to do with anything though.

i don know really i also think that he should play the right way or be sold in JAN.
How do you fail to see ?
How can you ask 10 mil for Tevez ( 1 year left ) and 20 mil for Dzeko ( 1,5 or 2 years i am not sure left ).
And majority in here idolised Tevez as sooooo muchhh beter than Dzeko.
Tevez was never going to sign a new contract here, not a chance, so the club cashed in and got £10m for a 29 year old player in the last year of his deal.

Dzeko is 27 and in his prime years, so to speak, and could easily sign a new deal if offered one so there's no real threat of having to cash in on him. Plus he cost us £27m so the club will wish to recoup a good deal of that IF they decide to sell.

You can't use two different situations like Edin's and Tevez's to come to any conclusion.

Those are not different situations. Those are the same situations.
The only difference is the one had 1 year the other 2 years. ( or 1.5 year )
Dzeko will never sign a new contract. i think it was offered to him this year or maybe it was written wrong in the media. ( the same ).
27 and 29 ( not so huge difference ).
If Dzeko cost 27 mil., Tevez did how much 40.50 mil. So what city did not wish to recoup a good deal of that ??
City should of sold him this year, if the intention was not to use him properly. They would get more money that way. The longer, the less money they will be.

As much as you wish you do, you don't know that.

Also, given the multiple transfer requests handed in by Tevez clubs knew he wanted out. Whereas Edin has been very vocal about his willingness to stay.

The situations are completely different

City would have loved to have kept Tevez, he is a world class striker and has a fantastic all round game, I doubt anyone is really that bothered about Edin going, I know I certainly ain't. The fact that you said Tevez is only slightly better than Dzeko truly shows your lack of footballing knowledge, Football Manager will only teach you so much Zlatan. Tevez is better than Dzeko in almost every single aspect of their game.

I of course dont know if he will sign a new contract or not. But i doubt it very very much. I think he is too ambitioned to be a sub for whole of his career at city.

I had allready replied in this thread that Tevez was slightly better finisher and better all round footballer. And i stay by my words.
I also think Tevez is better than Negredo and you will found that soon enough.
