Zlatan I agree 100%, it's time to move on for both City and Dzeko, this partnership on the whole hasn't worked out well for either. Edin is a good forward that will get goals at teams such as Wolfsburg, Schalke, Roma, Fiorentina, Napoli, Dortmund, Sevilla, Atletico etc. If we started Edin for 38 games in the Premier League this season I have no doubts in my mind that he will get 20 goals, the same can be said for Negredo or any of our other strikers to be honest. The difference is that they offer more than just goals and that's it, there is no denying it because we both know it's true. I like Edin and as I say I'm sure he'll do well in the Bundesliga/Serie A next season and I will thank him and wish him well for his efforts when he goes. But he isn't right for City and City aren't right for him.

He is ONE FOOTED which is GIGANTIC FLAW ( just watch his you tube clips and the comments on people, of beeing one footed ) if you know anything about football. I think i dont need to explain to you how bad that is/can be. Just watch Negredos last goal. He almost didint score. It was a position for right foot, becasue the keeper was all in left. And he shot with his let of course and the ball cathed keeper. And he is not better than Dzeko in long shots or headers. I would say that Dzeko is slightly better in both , besides being two footed striker.

And Dzeko's 6'4" and can't out jump Tony Hibbert, that's a pretty big flaw too

He can it seams he dont try so much, when outside the box. And i for one dont like it. I perfectly understand your point. I would say the same in your position believe me.
When i watch every next city game i hope for Dzeko to be more aggressive as it is as one poster said easiest thing to correct. But i still think that he has low pace for striker role, counter attack AND bulliyng defenders. Because he is not weak otherwise.
If i was him, i would by myself THE BEST fitness , condition coach. and work work, run, run ( PACE is the key to many players, i dont know if it is for him too, but i think it is ).

As being a CF it is more a flaw than at Messi.
He can not shoot at low passes from the left side, because he always shoot with his left.
As CF-role is mostly to score it have huge impact. There are many many situations that it is better to shoot with other foot. Many players pass the ball from weaker to stronger feet and lost valuable seconds and the chance is over.
Not to say that in football of that Biggest level, the defenders will just guide him to his weaker foot. Will close his moving.
I am not against him. I perefctly understand why the fans like him. Fans always liked the most fighters. that is the same in whole the world.
I my first of my 300 post i said that i dont think City needs both of them. One is enough. Why was Negredo bought and / or Dzeko not sold. There are 3 more strikers here anyway. More than enough. Jovetic will be great, Guidetti needs his chance.

Negredo's career record played 339, scored 144

Now I'm not one for stats painting a whole picture, but if Negredo can match Dzeko's scoring record practically, whilst being a better all round player, does that not make him the better player, and the same ability wise striking? Therefore I know who I would have in my team. I like them both, but Dzeko has had time to prove himself and he's still struggling.

Dzeko is far from being an all round striker like say Sergio or Alvaro..

but!!! and its a pretty big but...

Sergio being the better all round striker has scored 52 goals in 76 games for City.. thats a 0.68 goals per game strikerate..Whereas Edin,faults n'all has scored 44 goals in 69 games for city..thats a 0.63 goals per game strike rate..

Now maybe its just me but the carthorse who cant pass,trap,head,tackle,run and work his socks off.. is doing pretty damn good..

This is why we should not even think about considering selling him to Spuds or Arsenal.. you all want a striker who puts a shift in..to be honest if he did actually put a shift in (which I dont think he can) hed be the prems top scorer by a mile..

Edin is Edin and even with his failings hes a top scorer of goals and we should be happy to have him in the ranks, Ive never said he was a great footballer,Ive always said hes a great scorer of goals..
Thats the difference,so less of the carthorse shb( bugger;)) and appreciate that we have someone who can and will win games for us..but sadly, not all the time..
pound for pound Edin is the best 3rd choice striker in the world.. If this can be argued Id like to know who is a better 3rd choice..??

United(the biggest club in the world) have welbeck ffs,cu nt scored twice all last season..

So cut the lad a break ffs... hes playing like a donkey at present but scoring like dzeko.. 4 so far isnt too bad..
