Because it shows how poorly he was, which was what you were arguing.
Those facts prove that those who say he was poor for most of the game are correct. His passing was among the lowest, he gave the ball away and was dispossessed more than anyone else. That's playing badly, but his goal and assist in ET will cover that up for some.
Once again, you take things too literally. As I said, even giving the ball away is doing something...
My argument simply addressed one thing. "Dzeko did nothing for the first 90 minutes". That is a false statement as proven by my evidence. The quality of his game I did not discuss.
If we want to talk about the quality of his overall game. I would say he was cut off from the midfield, because we had a B team on. It is normal for the most forward player to have the worst passing, because he's not in the same position to make easy passes. He also is in charge of winning aerial balls from the goal keeper. Don't all those count as bad passes for instance, if he heads the ball and it doesn't get to a player of the same team?
I have shown that Dzeko has created at least one goal scoring chance in the 2nd half. And ultimately provided the winning assist and a goal.
Is it not suspect how much time it's wasted trying to prove how shit Dzeko was that game? For what purpose? Other than to grasp at straws and find a way to deride Dzeko in any was possible?
