That's fair enough. Not arguing who is the better player (although to me its obvious). Just my two penneth is goals per minute doesn't tell us anything.

Dzeko's scored more than Raul in half the time, just saying. Raul was in Bundesliga and he was average at best there. Which really underlines the bias people have against Dzeko.

This is what makes arguing with people about Dzeko so infuriating. They literally have no idea how fucking good he is. Here are the numbers: Dzeko is 27 and still has 5-6 years in him.

Please explain to me how is my statement not true.

Go look up real madrids top ever goal scorer and see why it might not be true.

Dzeko started his career as a midfielder, his early stats will skew the picture because of that. Dzeko has just reached his prime, we still have goals to see from him. Also he's consistently one of the top strikers in international tournaments, but you will find it Bosnia has a tougher time qualifying to major competitions than Spain has, or Real Madrid has easier time getting results in CL than Wolfsburg or Man City has (hopefully this changes).

But if you want to compare apples to apples like I tried, Dzeko is twice as prolific as Raul per minutes played.
