Agree. If article accurate he would be paid twice as much as our current top earner. Some club is going to find itself paying a big wedge of ‘luxury tax’ when and if the new FFP regime comes in.

If we believed everything we read we’d have signed Kane weeks ago.
Think they’re twisting what Riola has said with regards the wages, he said he wanted Haaland to be a £1m a week player (might have been €) and who knows in the future he could be.
But doubt he’s asking for that now.
The agent fees no matter how high they seem aren’t too bad if you look at the overall fee, he’d be cheaper than Kane for the initial fee at least.

I don't think Real could sign him on the reported €1m per week due to the salary cap imposed by la liga.

Real are in the same boat as Barca financially and will have to balance their books. Signing a player on €1m per week is surely a non-starter.

United paying through the nose for a 29 year old Kane next summer, and us signing a 22 year old Haaland, would be the objectively better outcome than the opposite. I'd take it right now if it were that simple.
