Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

The atmosphere in the stadium has gone to a never level well done the supporters it's having a effect if tonight we needed 12 goals to win the title we would have got it I believe we are good at conservating our energy can't blame us city till we die

pre Covid there’s empty seats all around the ground and it’s dead tonight, against a newly promoted side on a Wednesday.

Tonight was a great crowd, practically sell out and apart from a few periods of City just going through the motions on the pitch, thought the atmosphere was good.

Forest fans were good to be fair to them, no balloons either which was a nice surprise, thought “Champions of Europe, you weren’t even born” was funny from our fans as a response.

Forest fan I know who was there said we’re a different level to any side he’s ever seen them play against and was very impressed with the stadium.

Away fans were top tonight, fair play to them. Second half they came out and thought fuck it, we’ll have a laugh - may as well when you’re getting dicked, it’s what we used to do.

Was good again, but wasn’t as good as the first two games simply because most of the time in the second half I couldn’t hear what the singing section were singing over the top of the Forest fans in the third tier so couldn’t join in.

That South Stand roof is bloody fantastic for pushing the noise out around the rest of the stadium.

We’ve got to… GOT TO… move our singers up to the top tier of an expanded North Stand when it’s built!

I noticed Forest (like Sheff Utd the other year, Leeds last year etc.) pretty much solely sang their classic chants they’ve sung for years that every fan knew and just repeated them over and over. None of these random chants 85% of people don’t know, just classic Forest chants.
