Interesting that he's the only leading political figure to have remained constant and also the one almost solely responsible for key issues like immigration no longer being suppressed by the establishment. I can see why you are upset.

I will give you that he has been consistent never afraid to use the dog whistle politics he is famed for. Its this man of the people look at me I'm helping all these hard done by fishermen out. The fact remains the fishermen were shafted by the tories when they stitched up who sold everything off to the larger companies. He has deliberately stoker up the inner little Englander/racist in some of us and this country will pay for that for years to come.

That is worse, in that he has power at international level and he has deliberately chosen to not exert it by failing to turn up at EU meetings and then acting a dick when he was there.
He has been elected to represent the UK in Europe for about 10 years and has failed to do anything of the sort.
He whines about the failing influence of the UK in the EU and yet it is him being the problem.

Have you not registered that people may have voted for him for precisely that reason. There are lot of people that want him to be a pain in the arse of Brussels. You don't stand on a UKIP platform and support the very organisation you want to bring down do you. There are six UKIP MEP's all voted in on their political stance against Europe. Get a grip.

But you keep telling us that the only way to change things in the EU is to remain in it. He's remained in it and attempted to change thing (admittedly not to your requirements, but he's remained).... I fail to see your point, or are you being deluberately hypocritical?

I don't think this thread has been a waste of time, I think it's one of the best threads in years

I don't think people come on here to change their minds, just read other people's opinions, watch some clips that have been posted and generally enjoy the read

This thread has been good fun and some great posts on both sides of the debate. Better than a lot of the crap on the tv.
