Which is why I asked Jimmy Grimble. I knew the answer and I was sick of the meia/FA lies being spread. Not one penny will be given by the money grabbing whores that are the FA. The fans as usual are expected to stump up more money for the money grabing attention seeking whore that is Rooney.

Well they are mugs if they do.
 
I would love to know what the current England players really think but don't expect any of them to put their heads over the parapet. It's just a cheap publicity stunt. It would not be a problem if it was a proper charity match with all proceeds going to the worthy cause (like Niall Quinn did) The FA seems keen on undoing all the goodwill from the World Cup.
 
I hope that City decide to have no part of this sham. It devalues a cap and is an unnecessary burden on our players. Dont give it any credibility and withdraw our lads from it
 
So it's not a charity match, it's not a testimonial, it's just an international friendly designed entirely around getting Rooney a bit more exposure in the US? It just becomes more of a farce
 
So all of this moaning about young english talent not being given their chances is just bullshit then?

Friendlies should be for trying out new talent not for some over the hill rag.
