In the past you, and thousands like you, were the reason City's support was so highly regarded.

Now you're the reason our home support is the one legitimate criticism other fans can use against us.
 
We never leave early but do leave as soon as the full time whistle blows. Long way to go and it is often a pain getting back home with motorways shut and traffic jams getting away from the ground. I wasn’t at home for the Forrest game but travelled from where we are on holiday. Fucking motorway shut huge diversions on some roads meant I got home at just after 2am. I bet Alfie’s lad was safely tucked up in bed by that time…..

Some of the shite on here about fans v supporters makes me laugh. My first game was 1968, went home and away for many many years, spent a fortune travelling over 230 miles for every home game when I was living in East Yorkshire, but because we don’t stay and clap the players after the game has finished, that’s a problem for some….. Behave…..

I sit next to a fella from Lisbon, Portugal who is a season ticket holder and flies in for every game. Usually stays over if we have a Saturday then midweek game. I am in awe of his commitment and fuck me, his knowledge of world football which is excellent. I should really be judging that fella on whether he stays and claps the players off at the end…..

Grown men worrying about what opposition fans say on social media are far worse than those leaving before the end of the game.

No they can't because they all do it too, it's well documented.

Worrying about what other people think is a problem, you shouldn't give a fuck.
 
Frankly it's embarassing and pathetic how much people explain away their reasons for leaving early. Add the fact in any public event it is highly disrespectful and insulting to see the audience leaving before the end.

I wasn't winding him up. It was an observation, a stement of fact, not a criticism.

Leave early if you want but don't get all indignant when someone points out the obvious truth that you're making the club look bad.

If you say you don't give a fuck about what other fans think about our club, I don't believe you.
