Im all for flares if its done safe

You mean like in a boat in the middle of the sea when you are in need of help?
How the hell can flares be ''done safe'' in the middle of a crowded / enclosed space?

Lmfao....just what I was thinking MES....

By holding the flare above your head.

Fireworks, ok. But flares, the world has gone mad.

For the attention of those who think that setting off fireworks or flares or firecrackers is the 'done' thing:

Just answer me one question. Why do you go to FOOTBALL matches? Surely it is to watch FOOTBALL!!? Of course I could be wrong but I am sure that is why we went to a FOOTBALL stadium last night. It could be that you all got your dates mixed up and thought it was Bonfire Night!!

Sadly bud, some of those regularly at away games just go to be apart of "the scene" oblivious to the football, more engrossed with the sub-culture.

Why would anyone choose to watch the football they had paid £30 - £40 or whatever for (+ the other expences like getting there etc) when they could instead watch plume after plume of wretched smoke waft accross their eyes, or vave their vision temporarily impaired by a flare?
EB, you are showing your age here im afraid.

*lol* Yep I guess I am. But when that flaming banger went off last night and I nearly fell off the stupid steps on the end of the row (Goodison must be the worst experience for an away supporter with the way their rows are laid out) I could have throttled whoever set it off and I am not a violent person!!

But thanks for making me smile Law74

I saw some dickheads set one off outside after the ground. They where about 17-18. One lad said he was having a piss but he set a firework off instead. Tools!

Well in future fooking sit down at footie matches so you cant fall over, thats what seats are for.
