For any member of the City Matters Committee

More likely to be a drive to get more than 20k to attend the game if we're honest about it.
Wait for the PSG prices and we'll get a better idea of their attitude towards fans. If they're anywhere near the Leipzig prices, I'll be amazed.
I get your point mate but 20k and City in the same sentence doesn’t go together. It’s rare for us to get less than 50k.

I agree 20k is a bit too low. I'd say 35k more likely.
CL group stage v Leipzig...? Live on BT midweek? In the current climate?

Football tourists won't be interested. We'll have to give a few free tickets away to top 40k imo.

No excuse for making the purchase of tickets so difficult , with the technologies available it could and should be a simple process.

The lack of expansion is strange and I think we have missed a golden opportunity but as we have seen with the comments on here, the club seems preoccupied with corporate and the revenue that brings into the club.

The problem with corporate is when there is any sort of drop off in form/performance of the team, the majority will disappear to the next "big thing".

The normal match going fan has suffered, and there is no excuse for it. We also have an ageing support base, again we are missing a golden opportunity to bring new young fans to the stadium to watch this wonderful team. Cheap tickets, easy purchase, the ease of sitting together are all issues that need addressing.
This.

If past seasons are anything to go by there will be lots of Scottish coaches full of schoolkids. All presumably with free match tickets. I've always wondered what time they must get to bed before the next schoolday. I usually don't hit the sack until around 1am & by that time they've still got some way to go north of Carlisle.

Spot on. Unfortunately they can't even get the fixtures correct on the City App, so what hope is there for the issues you (rightly) suggest ?

Sorry mate but you lost credibility when you tried to pretend City would get very small crowds. It’s like the guy who claimed City would have tens of thousands of empty seats for the opening games, who got very little challenge on Blue Moan. If Blues expect apologies from the Club then fans should explain their posts when they are gagging for the media to write negative articles about us.

It work both ways and City Matters shouldn’t be basing their advice to the Club disproportionately on the negative anti City posts on here that are ridiculed amongst our hardcore support. Yes, our piss poor (currently) customer services deserves plenty of criticism but this thread has got carried away with itself.

If we only get 35k it would be disappointing. Points are awarded for home games only. If this isn't an incentive then nothing will encourage City fans. In another 20 years you could possibly get an away derby ticket for 10k Points. That of is course illness all us old buggers live till we're a hundred.
