For any member of the City Matters Committee

Before lockdown I never missed a game but I had slightly lost my love for the game. Since Lockdown has been eased I have been excited to be back and loved watching our blue boys just like I did when we were poo ! Every City fan i've spoken to has felt the same ? The atmosphere has felt better already this season, so hopefully we will get full crowds for all the champions league games .

Sorry mate but you lost credibility when you tried to pretend City would get very small crowds. It’s like the guy who claimed City would have tens of thousands of empty seats for the opening games, who got very little challenge on Blue Moan. If Blues expect apologies from the Club then fans should explain their posts when they are gagging for the media to write negative articles about us.

It work both ways and City Matters shouldn’t be basing their advice to the Club disproportionately on the negative anti City posts on here that are ridiculed amongst our hardcore support. Yes, our piss poor (currently) customer services deserves plenty of criticism but this thread has got carried away with itself.
"Lost credibility"... That's a bit strong Tim.

It's a competition that doesn't sit well with many older Blues. It's a midweek game against a rather uninteresting team and it's a school day the next day.

The cheaper ticket prices reflect the club's expectation of a low attendance, and the extension of deadline date is possibly in light of a low take up of places on the CL scheme.

I'm not trying to be nasty or anything like that mate, but if you honestly think we'll get 50k attendance against Leipzig, you're probably the one who needs to check their credibility.

IMHO, something between 20k to 35k would be about right for the Leipzig fixture in the current climate. PSG is the 50k+ fixture and the prices will be at least double those for Leipzig.

Great perspective there @Tim of the Oak. It’s very easy to get carried away and forget that not every fan of the best team in the land in all the world, Manchester City, is also a member on here. :-)

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but this Forum has been discredited in the past by members posting outlandish negative statements to try to catch the media’s attention. I trust you are not one of these posters but I think we will get much bigger crowds than you estimate.

I’ve read on here all week how City’s customer services (pretty piss poor atm I agree) is pitiful compared to major companies. FWIW, I’m heading over to my Dad’s on Sunday to paint the outside of his kitchen. I bought the required paint from Amazon. The delivery arrived yesterday and instead of cream, white paint was sent. Worse than that, the top was off the pot and the packaging was drenched in paint. Added to that, I need Sherlock homes to find any reference that will allow me to make a complaint. That truly is appalling customer service. That’s my own personal experience, I don’t need Bluemooners to trawl a review site to find an alleged Blue whose upset with a nome delivery of a shirt. I think that story is probably accurate btw.

I'm 100% with you on everything other than the possible attendance v Leipzig, Tim

Customer service gets no worse than DPD in my opinion!

As for the Trust Pilot review stuff, I always take reviews on that site with a very large pinch of salt.

Amazon's customer service is the stuff of legend. Log on, go to the bottom of the main page, click on Customer Service and then click contact me. Do an online chat and within 10 mins they will sort your problem right out.

OK I will give it a go and see if Amazon will clean up the mess and send the right paint by tomorrow morning, when I start the work.

If I'd only watched City against "interesting teams" for the past 50+ years I'd have saved a fortune.
I go to watch City: The opposition are just there to make up the numbers.
Perhaps we should have "interesting team" season tickets for games against the rags, dippers, Chelsea and Spuds. And a CL cup scheme for games against Real, Barcelona, PSG and Juve. Leipzig are there on merit, I'm sure lots of foreign fans thought City were uninteresting when we first qualified for this tournament.
