Formed in 2008! No history!

Ive got a scouse next door neighbour (i know hopefully he will be going soon) , and he goes on about empty seats , and yet the last time he went to Klanfield was a freebee from his company when Kenny the King was at his pomp , the majority of the City Bingo comments come from armchair / bar stool experts , who have a remote control in one hand and Phil Thompson’s cock in the other , who hang on every word that Sky/Bt pundits say.
Fuck 'em , if it was their football club getting a billion investment they wouldnt stop "following" their club , they would lap it up , envy and jealousy are not attractive traits.

Does anyone else ever get sick to the back teeth of this nonsense always thrown in our direction? Probably in a lot of circumstances by “fans” who have never been to Old Trafford!!
Could someone please draw up an in your face fact sheet for referral when needed! Lol

Why would a true City fan - regardless of when support began - state anything along these lines?

City were formed in 1880 for god sake - and obviously have a long and proud tradition, far before you or I became fans.

Superficial, still can't fill the stadium and still bankrolled by the Sheikh, but the blues featured had their heads screwed on, even if the presenter had his up his arse....

History, what a load of bollix. Probably only u*d and scousers who go on about it, followed a bit by Arsenal (who didn't win anything until 1930....) They decide when 'history' started which coincides with a successful period they had some years before the present. If we take u*d and scousers as the main bullshitters and take u*d to begin with then their 'history' really started from 1950 and Busby, prior to that I think major honours were 5-4 to u*d compared to City. So if 1950 was where 'History' began where does this leave the scouse? Well in the 50's they were shite, mainly in Div.2 and beaten in the FA Cup by the likes of Gateshead, Worcester and.....er…..Manchester City. Up to 1970 I think it was only 9-8 to Liverpool compared to City for major honours and we all know that the real scouse 'History' was born in the 1970's and 80's......you see a lot of archive City stuff in black and white but most of their stuff is in colour. Ironically Everton were more successful domestically in the 1960-70 decade yet you'd think LFC were the only team on Merseyside during this period, the charisma of Shankly of whom a fawning media no doubt found more interesting to write about compared to the more dour Harry Catterick. Then we have u*d's 'second coming' in the 1990's and the new myths about home grown players and the u*d way, with the media falling hook, line and sinker. Funny, take some cup finals in the 70's and 80's and compare the line -ups. u*d's FA Cup team 76 and 83 = NO Manchester players, City 76 League Cup = 7 Manchester/local players and 81 FA Cup Final = 6 Manchester/local players. I sincerely hope that in 20 years time after a period of unparalleled success we're not giving it the big one about 'History' and pushing out myths. Long may we remain a humble, 'working class' club at heart

Says it all about a minute from the end. He's a Villa Fan. Thinks the Sheik just arrived at City and handed over a bag full of gold. Not aware of the work that had gone into the process, giving us the opertunity over the likes of Villa, the Blue Dippers or the Barcodes
.

Have I got this right then on the old domestic front?

Five top-flight titles, five FA Cups, five League Cups, five Charity/Community Shields?

Symmetry with no history!
Indeed!

Five of each domestic trophy and a European Cup Winners Cup, around five of the top 15 club ground (non-Wembley) attendances in the history of this country, an invite to play a German league XI as English champions in 1937, record average attendance in the third tier (where we were when we were shit?), first team to ever do a double with one of the trophies being a European trophy (ECWC+League Cup), won three doubles (1970, 2014, 2018)...
