Hi guys, as you can see from my post count I don't often say a lot on here.

I thought I'd share a bit of info I've just heard from a rag I work with (he's not a bad lad either to be fair to him). He's mates with a journo who has told him that City are the second club to have bid for Bale. The size of the bid is probably similar to that of the Madrid bid but the terms are far more favorable to Spurs in that we are supposedly willing to pay the fee in two installments rather than the 6 that Madrid are currently offering.

I'll get slammed for this off people on here no doubt (although I don't post a lot I do lurk a lot!). I'm defo no ITK but thought it was interesting. It's more than likely a load of bollocks so make of it what you will.

Even though I don't even like Bale and think he's about £40m over-rated, I would very much love us to swoop in and nick him from under those bastards Real Madrid's noses. Will show them not to ruin our fucking song the twats.

even if true id very much doubt bale will consider us as first choice to madrid at the moment.

Completely agree with you mate, Bale obviously wants Madrid and wouldn't come to us IMHO.

If we are honest rather than biased [the latter being a common trait amongst football fans], there is no way that a player could be enticed anywhere else once Real Madrid happened to bid for him.

Stranger things have happened in football............one way or the other Bale is moving on Spurs seem to have spent the whole transfer fee already

With Spurs having spent the Bale money before they have sold the player, is there a chance the Real Madrid might reduce their offer for him, as they know that the closer to the transfer deadline they get the more pressing Spurs' need to actually conclude the deal becomes.

According to mundo deportivo,ronaldo has signed a three year extension with Madrid,keeps him there till 2018.....worth €17 million per year.....going to announce it after bale signs.
