Gareth Bale

Another fabricated rag transfer target shuns the swamp.

Who's next on thier list of players jumping at the chance of achieving a boyhood dream of joing u*d?

the thing about bale is him going would always give spurs either great players in return or a fuck load of cash to go and get great players!! with 2-3 top class additions they`re going to be a big threat.

I think they would be a threat like Arsenal is a threat. Yes they would be a good team....but not a world powerhouse.

Tottenham Agree £68m Deal to Sell Gareth Bale to Real Madrid According to Spanish Source

unto Pelota, a Spanish football TV programme, can usually be relied upon to produce and disemanate the wildest of transfer rumours and it seems they have outdone themselves on this occasion.

‘Agent’ Francois Gallardo claims that Tottenham have already agreed a €80m (£68m) deal with Real Madrid to sell their prized asset Gareth Bale this summer and that the move will be set to go through in late August, when the White Hart Lane side will have set about replacing the Welsh international and the Spanish giants time to sell a few unwanted members of their squad so as to finance the move.

What a load of bollocks that is.

There's no way Levy would sell Bale for less than what Ronaldo went to Real for. If he sold him it would be roundabout the £100 million mark easy.
But Bale really isn't even close to what Ronaldo showed even in England.

Bale is a £40-5m player tops.

Bollocks, at the same age I would suggest Bale has offered more, BUT whether he develops as much as Ronaldo did is unlikely; he is also a much better human being than Ronaldo, mind you, apart from rooney, who isn't

You are aware that Ronaldo left Man United at the age of 24, (Bale'c current age)

In 101 appearances (in the 3 seasons prior to his move Ronaldo scored 66 goals, Gareth Bale has scored 37 goals in 99 appearances in the last three seasons.

No chance. Bale is several tiers below that level.

I would love to see PabZab negate Ronaldo in the CL this season as effortlessly as he did Bale.

In terms of "offering more" though Bale alone earned Spurs 24 points last season. Not sure about Ronaldo's contribution last season though.

But Bale's a proven game changer and winner, hard to put a price on that but it's not Andy Carroll-esque

Pab Zab got ripped apart by Ronaldo in Madrid last season.

If Tottenham pull the deal/swaps mentioned they will finish third behind us & Chelsea and it becomes a fight between Arse and the rags for 4th spot.

Looking like it's going to continue to be the season that keeps giving and it's not even started yet ;)

In fairness PB I think Roberto's ill fated attempt 3-5-2 was at fault for that one.

Fucking hell !

Price has come down a bit from the £80 million being touted, not long ago.

Wasnt Maicon playing that game ??

What is Bales injury that is preventing him from playing tomorrow, and just for reference (and i dont think bale will go) we all said marca was madrids mouthpiece and talked bullshit when they started with the isco thing and i think we all know how that ended.

A curious statement by AVB. Talking of Bale, he says, quote, "He's a Tottenham player, he's one of the most fantastic players in the world at the moment and we are counting on him for the future. He's a player that we are WILLING to continue to have." Make of that statement what you will.

Until Tottenham says clearly that Bale is not for sale or Bale himself says he'll stay at Spurs, speculation will keep growing.

Rags and hypocrisy

Its public tapping up and they ought to be curbed. But it will never happen.

is what they think about RM and Bale.
