^Saw them 5-6 years ago and they were excellent.
District is one of the great US hardcore songs.

Just been to watch Jake Bugg at the Parr Hall. Technically very gifted but something missing. He is a good warm up act for me. Think he is supporting Gallagher and Squire this month. 7/8 good tunes. Odd voice though.

Mac's voice not as shot as I've known it, and a very technically gifted band. Not the worst I've ever seen them and Erica Nockalls was a decent support act

Went to see Tony Wright, singer for Terrorvision at the tiny Coastal Cafe Bar in Blackpool last Saturday. A great night of music and his ramblings.

The Ocean Rain gig with Orchestra was one of my favourite gigs of last year. I’m at the Saturday after the game next week.I'm a scouser and I couldn't understand some of his rambles. Musically they are very tight and it was a good gig and I always believe if you want this pristine experience you stay at home and listen on your hi fi. Enjoy the gigs

I snagged a pair of tickets to see P.J Harvey in Sept.
After listening to her new album and reading that there's a good chance she will play the whole album, I think I might flog them back.

Should be a good night, musically I thought they were sound. His voice was a tad ropey at times bit it didn't deter from a good evening. They do 2 sets with a small interval - was reading about their Bristol gig and a journalist inferred they walked offstage after 30 minutes - they do but it's scheduledThe Ocean Rain gig with Orchestra was one of my favourite gigs of last year. went to CMAT (w/ John Grant) and The Gossip (w/ Alison Moyet) on Friday night for the 6 Music thing. Was a good gig, my wife is into the bands and i went along, but both vocalists were very strong, and The Gossip still a great live act. Good gig.
