Lol what a mess. Claims met with counter claims which will probably be met with counter claims. One day we'll all just get back to normal hopefully. He's not a pervert from what I understand, he's unlikeable it seems and has done some well dodgy twatty stuff, and I suspect there are more stars out there that are behaving the same but they are popular people or are under the radar so no one says anything.

Ricky Gervais maybe next, I have been hearing things about him and he has enough enemies for it the mushroom. And I'll secretly be happy, because I dont like him. And thats just about the state of things in life right now.
Still think the pervert is innocent?

"To those who’ve shown kindness, thank you. It mattered. This has been brutal. For a working-class man with a direct manner, modern broadcasting has become a dangerous place. I was the headline this time. But I won’t be the last.

"There will be more casualties if the BBC continues down this path, where protecting its legacy matters more than protecting people. For my part, with full legal support, I will consider my next move."

Oh it's all these posh wokies against horny handed sons of toil

John Torode sacked now!

I have never watched any cookery programme but are we seeing the end of these competition programmes? They’re all at it with the bullying and worse it seems.

It’s all kicking off now!

Torade says he doesn't remember the innocent and says it never happened. Makes you wonder why the bbc didn't believe him.

Think the thread title needs changing now !!

I bet we all worry about the police knocking on our door for pinching a ladies bum in a night club, 40 years ago

I don’t like Torode but based on what I’ve read and understand this is wholly disproportionate and unfair.

There is a world of fucking difference between a campaign of innuendo and wholly inappropriate comments over a sustained period which has caused a large number of people to feel upset, uncomfortable and worse, and a single incident where the recipient appears to only be mildly bothered by it.

This constant virtue signalling is not healthy and a less forgiving society is not necessarily a better one overall.

Every case is different and it seems to me that Torode has ultimately been sacked for the sins of Wallace.
