Every club does it ..
some do it differently to others, and I would imagine City at least 'try' to do the right thing in terms of comms to selling club, but that's what agents are for - they make sure the player knows exactly what the buying and selling club think/are doing

I suspect, and hope, that things have gone too far towards a deal for Kane to be abandoned and that an agreement will be reached soon. If there is a possibility of any kind of deal for Messi this would have to be financed from new sources of revenue. So, I think Kane will come but I doubt Messi will. I don't know where Messi will go because no-one has the wherewithal to afford him!
