I'd have no problem with Harry Kane signing, just think that Haaland would be a better one for the club in the long term.

Two or three years of Kane and that would be about his lot. He'd have a market value of about £20m.

In the last 18 months, Kane has started dropping deeper and deeper, he said in his interview with Neville that he wanted to be more involved with the game and link up play. He thinks he's the new Pirlo.

The major flaw in this, is that when you're the main target man, you can't pass the ball to yourself. And it's not like De Bruyne is just going to stand to one side and say, "You go for it Harry, you take the playmaker role. I'll just wait here until you get injured, which won't be long..."

I can imagine the conflict with him not playing off the shoulder (in between the sticks) where he is at his best.

He played that way because of Mourinho and the counter attack. So who's to say Pep wouldn't play him higher like a striker? There are certain aspects like dropping deep in the midfield to help progress the ball under a high press that all our strikers (including Aguero) did or does.
But in the final 3rd I expect if he was playing for us to take up positions where a striker would be.

Kane’s not on the decline ffs. If anything he’s just distracted and knackered right now. He was amazing last season. Literally incredible, in a terribly managed team.

there are arguably no better strikers than him in world football right now. Haaland May turn out to be, but let’s face it, the Bundesliga isn’t the Prem.

Besides, Kane can teach Delap for 4 or 5 years, where as Haaland blocks his route through. If Delap doesn’t turn out good enough then we’ll just sign Haaland in 5 years when he’s about to go into his peak.
