We kept a very unhappy Modric, Kane wont be sold cheaply, its that simple £130-£140M he will go.

I’m with you in the main but, having a seriously wronged and therefore belligerent player in your squad is adverse to squad harmony, team spirit, results on the field and that, as a direct consequence, reduces sponsor income.

Thus, you can keep a player by pricing him out of the move that you promised him but you may find that your poor management of your ‘best’ player has reduced him to being a Jonah that you wish you were without.

City will pay £120mil I suspect. I think the game is very different now re modric.

Spurs should sell Kane & cash in because in 2 years he will be much less & I just don’t see you challenging for anything for at least 2 seasons.

city want champs league with pep & Kane is for that. If we fail then potentially a bad deal for city win it & it’s the perfect deal.

I just don’t see why Spurs even want to keep Kane right now

I said I don't, I have said that from the start, but the "supposed bid" was just never gonna happen. Pay the price somewhere between the 2 valuations and he will go. Il always appreciate his ability and the goals but if we are all being honest, he's been an absolute tit the way he went about this. Modric, Berbatov at least had the balls to show up, Kane is in Florida sucking Brady's dick.

I don’t think they do really, just not seen to be the bad guys or be a push over.

With due respect; (double lol) The gentleman’s agreement that Levy has failed to keep which has put Kane into such a spat that he’s fucked off a return to training and is busy sipping pina colada’s on a foreign beach.

And I say that as a bloke who has great respect for Levy and his previously excellent record.
 
messi leaving barca is great news for city and maybe spurs will panic and take the money now before we change our minds ? spurs can not turn down £120million for kane knowing it would bring in 3 or 4 new players

There is not a chance that City would hang Kane out to dry like that ..
They have been fully supporting/advising him on his situation with Spurs, and there is NO WAY Kane would be taking the action he is without City's 100% support and confidence.

If anything happens with Messi, it would be in addition to Kane and Grealish, or because the Kane deal went bad. It's not an either/or situation

We have no idea if city are in discussions with Kane. He’s a Spurs player so we can’t be. We need a striker so no way we are leaving it open if a player can force a move. If messi is available in 2 weeks & Kane still at Spurs we will go for messi.

we can’t afford all 3
