The only thing what I don't like about this saga is our only interest in Kane (it seems). No other options has been discussed in the media. While in the past when the transfer takes this long, we would have heard about alternatives already at this stage. I seriously hope we won't play another season without a striker. If not Kane get someone else.

I think it's nailed on personally. The whole saga, Kane not turning up and wanting the move, Martinez offer.. it's a case of watch this space. We may have alternatives but the club are keeping their cards close to their chest I'd imagine. Kane will be in a City shirt before not too long. Spurs are standing their ground because they hold all the cards. Kane is our only target, but (despite what some on here think) they don't actually need to sell him in this window. As he's tied down under contract, we'll pay what Spurs want.
As I've said before, a deal is possibly being delayed due to disagreement over the valuation of player(s) involved in part exchange, one of whom I suspect will be Aymeric Laporte.
It'll be done soon.
