Fernando and Yaya in a two-man midfield...now bricking it! It's what a lot of people have dreaded all week. They're going to need to be fucking miles better than they've shown, and somehow find some mobility from somewhere.

Exactly, and this might even end up being the key to our season. We're lacking in the AM department, and have already been very close to having both Nasri and Silva out, so why not give Jovetic a chance in that spot. His game, with his pacy dribbles and shots from range, is better suited to a deeper role than a full-on forward anyway. In fact, I'm pretty sure he was used in that sort of position at Fiorentina to great effect.
