Hazard Or Bale???

I'd have Bale at City in a heartbeat, fantastic athlete and player.

And let's not forget, he's been "managed" for the last 3 years by a man who claims to be only barely able to read and write and who freely admits to being a mental pygmy when it comes to coaching and tactics. Imagine what Bale could achieve under Mancini.

Or just rested properly.

I rate Bale but even if he put's in a transfer request Levy will price him out of the market, he'll put a stupid figure on his head and wont budge on it, it worked with Modric last year and he wont hesitate to do it again.

The pointless time and effort invested in any attempt to attract Bale, would be better spent on numerous other players out there who could be just as influential for City over the coming seasons.

He would be brought in to change the style of attack we already have nasri and Silva who do a job similar to hazard.

We need pure pace in our team, last season we played the same way every game with the only real change in tactic was yaya moving father forward.

I am not knocking playing the same way as we were rather good at it, Prem title proves the point.

With the prem and CL we are going to have to play against different types of teams and who is to say that when teams like Stoke do park the bus Bale’s strength and speed may provide that little something else.
But when it will help is away from home against the better teams ie Bayern away last year, when they started to push us back a pure pace outlet would have been just what we needed.

Plus whenever I watch Bale he seems quite a clever player, he picks his passes well even at speed and he can score.

We should go for him in a big way

I've heard Modric is off to the rags.................don't know what strength there is in that but I don't rate him anyway - good player when you're two up but hides when its all hands to the pump - bit like nasri (tin hat!)

Would love us to sign Bale his pace is not the only reason he is valued so highly.

Bale would be an awesome signing. Rather sign him than Hazard anyway; he's proven in this league and fast and absolute class. Get him plus cover at centre-back and we'd win the league again next season in my opinion.

Then why doesn't a top club sign him? Newcastle are a selling club (their model is to sign cheap, sell big) so signing him wouldn't be too difficult. Ben Arfa is impressive at times but is quite inconsistent and wasn't even a starter at Newcastle for the first half of last season, nor was he a regular starter for Marseille. He didn't show up against us either and was in Clichy's back pocket for most of the game. I don't think Mancini would sign Ben Arfa because he can be lazy and doesn't track back. A good player but there is better out there - including Bale, who is 3 years younger than Ben Arfa and counts as homegrown too.

Signing Bale would be perfect for us on multiple levels. First and foremost it strengthens our team and brings a direct pacy winger who plays on their natural side, something we have been crying out for at times this season. Secondly in my opinion it makes a statement far greater than signing Hazard as we would acquire a player proven in both the champions league and the prem. Finally it would weaken the spuds and piss off 'arry which I'd bloody love as I truly despise them cockney knob jockeys.
