AgreedLet every other team have their little "we're gonna win the league" and we'll still be there at the end of the season.

No fecking way it's over fer Christs sake !Even if, by some quirk of fate, it is over,
This. And this is what separates us Blues from Rags and the coach trashers.Even if, by some quirk of fate, it is over, I got to see my team win the treble, win the domestic grand slam, score the record number of goals and get the record number of points. Something no other team's fans in history have ever seen. It has been a privilege..
unfortunately a sense of entitlement is starting to creep in with some and some that should know better.This. And this is what separates us Blues from Rags and the coach trashers.
We have no sense of entitlement and are there for the good times as well as the not so good.
God has written a comeback for his very own club spearheaded by the return of our King Kevin. This title will be historic. Have faith. It’s so easy to laugh, it’s so easy to hate…
Time to focus on the chumps league?
Becaise bar villa, every gale we have dropped points we should have had dead and burried by half time.Interestingly enough the opta analyst model still gives us the highest chance of winning the league of anybody.
City 53.9
Arsenal 22.9
Liverpool 20.7
The way I look at it we lost five games last year and had 5 draws. In theory we still have an opportunity to replicate that win total. We have dug a hole, but we aren’t dead yet.
That is indeed the consolation and currently my coping mechanism.Even if, by some quirk of fate, it is over, I got to see my team win the treble, win the domestic grand slam, score the record number of goals and get the record number of points. Last season it was that we didnt have a left back, we needed to ditch Haaland because our style clashed with his. (He'd joined the wrong club apparenty) KDB was past it, Eddie was not a shot stopper and we were suffering from it. We'd thrown away the league by december because we were apparently shite. That is indeed the consolation and currently my coping mechanism.
Last season we achieved virtual football perfection - the Madrid, Dipper and Arse home games. For that, yes you needed the system but also a certain calibre of player - physically, ability wise and mentally. We didn't achieve that in the last disappointing window.
We put Alfa parts into a Mclaran.
We also tinkered with the system with the one half decent purchase.
I bow to your superiority.Last season it was that we didnt have a left back, we needed to ditch Haaland because our style clashed with his. Every year its something, so I dont really believe all the crap until come January and Feb. Then we will see. Its all just moaning from no-nowts (Including me recently) panicking and not seeing the bigger picture. We could well be a well oiled machine in a couple of months.

It's early December, months to go yet.
Never knew Johnny had a crystal ball :)

If Rodri is out for more than 10 games we are propper fucked. It's criminal how dependent we are on him.
Was really hoping Pep could come up with something over the last window.
Rodri FC till I die!
Give over.I honestly think Pep is keeping something in the tank for the World Club Cup. That's literally one of the hardest trophies you can win as you need to finish top 4 in your domestic league, win the CL and then win against the best team from South America and now even a team from Saudi. Chances to win it are hard to come by and we might never play in it again as you have to win so much to even qualify.
Ultimately, whenever we look a bit lost it's because Peo is getting the players ready for a new system.
I'm not giving up, I've seen us come from 8 points behind with 5(?) games to go against Fergie and even the Aguero goal. Unless we're mathematically out of it, only an utter fool would bet against us. Emerson, Stones, Dias, Ake, Foden, Haaland, KdB, Bernardo, Grealish, Alvarez etc etc have been here before and know what's needed.
COME ON CITY!!
