Well what can I say...

I have just completed day 60 and finished the whole programme.

Hard isn't the word but I really feel as though I have achieved something and the rewards are quite clear...not sure if I'm gonna be posting pics etc but I haven't missed a day and stuck to the programme even when working nights etc.

Month 1 when I look back is a doddle compared to the beast that is month 2 which is just brutal...

Diet has changed a lot and despite me still having a sweet tooth I have certainly cut back on eating loads of rubbish. Protein Shakes are highly recommended for anyone who is considering doing this to aid with muscle recovery because I don't think I will ever forget the pain of that first weeks lactic acid build up.

What to do now. Well I have just downloaded Insane abs so I will give that a blast tomorrow (thanks to Danamy) and then it will be a case of maintaining I think by doing month 2 again but with the odd extra rest day or maybe giving T25 or P90X a go however I have no free weights at the moment.

If anyone wants any tips at all feel free to PM me. Absolutely delighted to have finished this whilst working full time and have 3 children. Time management is what is it all about.

Well done mate. Takes real dedication to finish this beast of a work out. What were your results like? I lost 2 stone when I did this and my advice would be to never stop. I finished this and then xmas came around and started the bad habits again and put some of the weight back on so keep working out even if it isn't insanity.

Cheers pal. Sent my mate a pic last night and he said I look like a middleweight boxer now.
I have abs and obliques again which is good pal as I am 40 in 3 months so delighted.
Absolutely chuffed I bought this. Gonna do insane abs and keep doing various workouts from month 2 now. Decided T25 might be the option next so if anyone has a free link to download it would be mega appreciated.

PM about T25

Starting this again today but fancy doing insane abs this time. Anyone got a link or something to where I can find that workout vid? Cheers.

Completed Insanity as per my earlier posts 10 days ago.
I was undecided what to do next. Danamy sent me the link for Insane abs which is harsh but enjoyable.

Have now started T25-10 week programme.
Currently on Day 4. Really enjoying it. I love the fact it is only 25 mins per day as sometimes Insanity was hard to get up for knowing it was an hour on occasions. Sometimes feel as though I am going to lose a degree of fitness by doing less but by really hammering it for 25mins and focusing on form/core etc.Having the extra rest day on T25 allows me to do Insane ABS in conjunction with this which is good. I think I will maintain current fitness levels hopefully improving 6 pack etc.Gonna stick with this now for ten weeks which will take me up until Christmas week which is ideal.
Will have a week off over Christmas and then will look at doing something else.
Anyone who wants to try T25 give me a shout and I will send you the links to all the free videos on Vimeo. No downloading required, just a HDMI cable attached to your lappy.
Don't think I will be going anyhwere near Insanity Asylum-That just looks stupidly hard!

After I've finished this round of Insanity off I'm going to try that P90X. Have a few mates who did it and got some great results.

Which round have you started with? Alpha?
I love the weights from Beta onwards.
25 minutes a day is nowt. If I was to do Insanity again (I've done it three times so not in any great rush to do so) I would probably substitute the 15min abs workout for a T25.

Apparently Beta will prepare you ready for Asylum. My friend who has completed Insanity and Asylum said the latter is the best for sculpting your body. I've trimmed two stone of fat thanks to Insanity but I want those abs of steel before I hit 40. She tried T25 and likes the Gamma workouts but said they are a bit tame now she's entered the Asylum. She's started her own hybrid with the toughest workouts from Insanity/Asylum/T25.

I;m not going anywhere near the Asylum. It looks fucking mental!!!
I started on Alpha mate and am currently on the middle of week 3. I am enjoying the fact that it is only 25 mins. It is not as harsh as Insanity but still a fantastic workout. I feel as though I am maintaining fitness rather than increasing my fitness level.
Insane abs is really good. Danamy, the fine fella, emailed me the link to download it.
