Lol ok mate, 3 eggs, 3 scoops of Vanilla whey, 3 scoops of oats, teaspoon of decent PNB (ie as little sugar as possible), pinch of salt, pinch of baking soda, cap of vanilla essence blend, heat some rapeseed/evoo gently in a frying pan, pour in half the mixture, Beadle sized handful of blueberries and cook, flip over, squeeze of lemon juice and a couple of sachets/level teaspoon of 'Truvia', have that for breakfast, the other half of the mixture for supper.

Is it savoury or sweet foods that are your downfall mate ?

What the fuck is PNB? I don't have any of this Whey powder as I haven't got £40 per month to spunk on it. Also, what's Truvia? I'm presuming a Beadle-sized handful is quite big? I'm not into Blueberries, will Strawberries or Bananas suffice?

It's savoury over sweet for me, tbh.

I can live without Chocolates and that, it's bready stuff that I like. I've starting buying brown bread and wholemeal wraps instead of white though, so that's a start!

You never answered me first time.

It needn't cost 40 a month, and, given your lack of protein, which is essential...... You would not be spunking anything.

A far inferior 'alternative' of Nesquick and milk will not be as beneficial nutritionally or on your physique and will probably also cost more in the long term.

-- 23 Apr 2013 16:43 --

A decent 'entry level' cover your needs powder,i've been using for years with good results.

Normally discount codes are knocking about and money can also be saved by purchasing via a cashback site.

PNB = Peanut butter, preferably Whole Earth, but Aldi do one with 5% sugar for under a quid
Whey = see FI's reply, bioavailability far superior to other stuff, also, gram for gram whey is probably still the cheapest source of protein out there.
'Truvia' = An alternative to sugar and sweeteners which contain dextrose/maltodextrin (like probably in your 'Nesquick'.
Beadle hand = Small (gimpy) handful
a few sliced Strawberries will be fine though as will a banana.

Obviously usage dependant but if you took 30/40g at brekky(where most useful imo) and similar later in the day(after training) then you should get at least 2 months.

Lol I shouldn't really preach mate, like FI pale shadow and all that, but different goals these days, still, 17" 'gunz' shouldn't be sniffed at, probably 'too big for society to accept though' lmao ;-)

Amongst the best advice i've received, for getting and staying in shape, is simply ''lift heavy shit''

As such its deadlift time!

Quite true mate, going to start putting deads back in when I get back off hols, although, I feel quite sad knowing that's what your having to use and that's where you're training these days (yes I'm a weights snob lol ;-) ) You'll have to pop round sometime mate, down to my dungeon.

Cheers H,if you promise not to laugh at the skinny weak bloke,i'll take you up on that offer some time!

And youre correct, training at home just doesnt quite feel right but its doing a job,for now......

Lol QR.

Nah not at all mate, we've probably seen many people between us that had it and lost it for various reasons out of their control over the years, I see it simply now as 'have a goal, stick to it and be the best you can be', but yes mate welcome anytime, I can hear Your Mrs now though complaining about you leaving dints in that laminate though lol.

Can't believe some prat interrupted me midway through a set yesterday to ask "have you got many sets left?". Anybody else have any gym pet hates?

Grunters
Thing is I dont mind people that exhale heavily or grunt a bit. Its fucking hard work and hurts at times but some bloke in my gym has his ipod turned up to 13 so as long as he is on the same continent as you you can hear it, talks to himself encouragement wise and then makes more noise than a harpooned whale while doing any form of lifting. He is a **** and I hate him

Not wishing to take the term 'pet hates' literally, nothing phases me since the day I had the dog's snout up my crack during a set of heavy 'rest pause' squats, being a hound it wasn't just a casual sniff either, it was a full on 'digging for truffles' snout.

Lack of manners (and I'm talking in between sets here) " FUCK ! You've taken me out of the zone", "Carry on with that attitude Sunshine and I'll take you out into the car park" ;-)

Twats that leave dumbells on the floor next to benches when they are done with them! the gym where I go is pretty old school and if the owner see's anyone do that they get booted up the arse pretty damn hard and stuck on the wall of shame! Also hate dirty bastards that work out in there work clothes covered in dust etc then dont wipe benches down afterwards so you get covered in sweaty brick dust!
