IPTV

I recently bought an Nvidia Shield as there were rumours about Amazon blocking 3rd party apps. It's miles quicker than a stick and has AI upscaling. I keep the stick for travelling but haven't used it for a while as the Shield is so much better.
Another vote for the Shield, had mine for about 2 years, never had a problem, only complaint is that it kept switching on Netflix, a youtube video fixed that small issue.

Do the Android TV boxes reduce blurring of the ball. I get a decent picture on Amazon Firestick but tried to watch tonight’s game but it’s just not as good as my Sky HD picture. I only use Firestick as a 3pm service but if I got a better picture would consider binning Sky as it is scheduled to go over £100 next month.
The 3pm's are rarely in UHD 60fps as they are foreign sources. At least we can get english commentary now.
Even so, HD streams should be blur/judder free. Switch around to get the best stream, then check below.

There are two settings you need to look out for. One on the Firestick, one in your App. Look for Picture settings.
On the Firestick, is called "Frame rate matching". It only works if your app supports it. Switch it ON.
On your app, it will be called something like "Frame rate SWITCHING". If the stream is passing on the original source material, the Stick and app will work it all out. You can normally tell if your TV is frame matching as it will go blank for a second when you switch sources.

Most people think picture judder is source related (which it can be). But most of the time it is your setup causing the issues.

You’re obviously a tech genius. Is there an easy way to get audio and picture to sync on the IPTV on my firestick.

Will this fix that? Even if it’s not live TV and it’s films or Tv series being watched through the IPTV.

No genius, but i've found in the past that the App or settings you are using is normally the problem. Check with your IPTV supplier if there is another App option. Sometime just updating the App is enough to sort lip sync problems, or check in the App settings for a slider for delaying/syncing audio. However, that is normal just to correct delays due to your TV processing the Picture, and can actually make things worse. Owning a very old Firestick can cause issues.

I use a Fire TV Cube. Bit more expensive, but i have had zero issue due to processing/memory power. It really is overkill for IPTV though.
I also run this wired via an ethernet lead rather than wi-fi. This helps remove any wifi/internet issues.
It is actually slower than using wifi, as it is only 100mps. 80-90mps is still way faster than any UHD-HDR 4K stream will ever need.
I can get faster internet speeds via wifi, but just don't need any faster for IPTV etc.

Anybody having any issues this first weekend. Supposedly the first couple of weekends the blockers are working hard to stop streams

My supplier had a rocky Friday night for the dippers game but it was back to normal after that, that said I have Virgin Media and that was tits up as well on Friday so thankfully I didn’t get to see the dipper shite win.

May I ask where from blue. I have a firestick and was looking at these. Does it come with everything loaded on?
Amazon mate. Gonna fire it up today but i presume the usual apps (google chrome, youtube, kodi etc) are already installed. I will need to get 'downloader' app then download my iptv app. dead easy to do.

Box is ''Mecool KM9PRO.
