Isco

Not happy at Real Madrid.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3052738/Real-Madrid-midfielder-Isco-hurt-not-happy-dropped-James-Rodriguez-despite-strong-season.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... eason.html</a>

I think Isco has realised that, when everybody's fit, he's on the bench.

Probably lose any chance of Isco if we ditch Pelle.
Should we let this influence our thinking when choosing manager for next season ?

Klopp or Guardiola are big names and would surely attract Isco. Maybe even more than Pellegrini?

Getting Ancelotti would probably lose all chance of signing Isco though!

No there is no guarantees Isco would move here because of Pellegrini as proved previously

Agreed it was Real Madrid but if Arsenal or Chelsea go in for him he may choose London over Manchester and likewise PSG.

Hes turned Pelligrini down once already so I think this so called special relationship is irrelevant
Bit like the so called special relationship our ex Barca duo have with Pep

Or he just signed for the biggest club in the world

This is one obsession I wish would've died a long time ago.

Why? He was a top player and a better one now and still only young! Its attitudes like yours that need to die thinking city are the ultimate club! They are to us but in the real world we are only just in the top 10.

Oi Richards, how's the bankruptcy?

By no means do I think City are the ultimate club, you couldn't blame Isco at all for choosing Real but its been two years and every single window this rumour pops up and every time people are all over it like a rash. My point is that I wish people would move on. Additionally, there are other targets available that are, in my opinion (!), better.

Definitely worth another try.
Great player. Also if real win back to back champions leagues, he may as we'll go somewhere and play each week. He already has the medals.
Gives another creative option rather than relying on silva all the time.

For the Mail to run with "Isco not happy, regrets not moving to City" as a story, it does make you consider it.

The Mail is full of shot, though.

True, it would take Hazard to go to Real to release Isco imo, you can't really judge what Real are going to do, unpredictable sorts.

Instead of Hazard I'd say Pogba. Isco plays in the central midfield or on the wing. Either way James is their main man and Isco is 2nd fiddle. I get the feeling Juve may be ready to sell with guys like Dybala and Gundogan linked to them too.

Hazard will not go to Real for less than 100m, and Chelsea are not willing to sell.

If we could attract this kid,i would be tempted to release Silva - obviously he is still top class but he is slowly on the decline IMO,we'd still get the opportunity of a very decent fee for him and, with Isco pulling the strings, the chance to reinvigorate a lethargic, uninspired team.

De Bruyne and Sterling either side would look very tasty.
