Evidence?

He is Yaya's mate for starters,

Look I hate Yaya probably more than anyone. I hate Nasri a little less. But Yaya and Bobby were close and Bobby hated Nasri....I think your logic is flawed.

That said I hope to God they both fuck off asap.

How can you hate both Nasri and Yaya, both have been integral to two title wins, I know Yaya and his agent have played silly b*ggers recently but he is 31 and probably after a last pay cheque. Happens everywhere, even Lampard a solid pro , come Chavs legend came to City.

I don't get the hatred thing for players who have been a significant part of one of the best periods in the history of the club.

I think it's time those two moved on, but they will leave me with great memories & always be welcome back, as champions.

If players read some of the stuff posted on here, I'm not sure why anyone would want to sign for City. You win two titles in 4 years & leave the club hated ? Why would anyone sign up for that ?

And Isco stitches us up & signs for Madrid & is welcome.

nasri will cost pellers his job. only because pellers wont pick him. if he did we'd be top.

Nasri is good but he isn't that good.

Nasri is a tw*t ... another prima donna, can understand why he gets on with Yaya 'its all about me' Toure.... peas in pod those two!!!! Hopefully both will be gone in the summer replaced by two professionals with more gumption and understanding of team spirit...

Absolutely spot on.

Football might be a team sport but it's become an individuals game in terms of money, awards and the like. I don't blame Isco for choosing Madrid. He's Spanish and they are one of the two major clubs that you want to sign for. He hasn't got as much game time as he'd like but he's not done too badly. We can't compete with Madrid for players if we offer the same money, we certainly can't should they offer more!

As for Nasri and Yaya... they've done a lot for our club. They've worked hard in a team that's had to fight against all odds to win things. From 8pts down they helped us win the league and the same last season. Nasri and Yaya both scored vital goals. They may cause problems off the field but it's more likely because they're frustrated at results and want to win things than it being out of greed. I believe we should look to move them on this summer but they are two players who I will celebrate if and when they return to City whether for or against us.

A little more analytical grist to the Isco mill:-

Apparently Arsenal are close to signing Isco for £33m. Isco and Pogba going to rivals... great! Come on City, jump on this deal. If we sign Wiltshire for £33m I might cry.

I haven't seen any quotes from players/clubs/agents other than the pogba one. So just relax mate. I cant see arsenal ever getting one of our top targets over us unless ffp restrictions are in place. Eg- Sanchez.

In planning for the summer window I should have stated. We seem to be linked with HG 'talent' lately rather than class which is what we need whereas others are getting an early start. Hopefully there's progress under the surface than what's being reported.

Relax mate, we know you're the sage of the transfer forum. Just a few pages ago you posted your fantastic input - get rid of Silva to get Isco. Any other gems..

You posted that you 'hope' there is 'progress' other than 'what is being reported'. It has been reported that we are in for Pogba etc & is being reported today, so don't you mean you hope you manage to convince yourself not to choose to be pessimistic ?

The report (from Talksport) was noted after I posted. Pessimistic, perhaps.

They are just all waffling bollocks anyway.

City will be in for top players along with everyone else. Where they end up, we will know when it happens.

Ric, you may as well close down the transfer forum until the summer mate. Nothing to discuss here.

You have to wonder if Ancelotti leaving would impact any outgoings and the possibility of a ban next summer would make Madrid splash out now. I'd love Isco here and it looks like Rodriguez will get the regular place at Madrid.
